Ocie - Privacy Policy
This revised policy reflects the current Ocie data practices confirmed and approved by the owner.
Last updated: July 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Ocie handles information when you create characters, worlds, stories, and other creative content in the app.
1. Your creative content
Character profiles, images, notes, worlds, stories, chapters, relationships, timelines, and other creative content remain on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, that content is stored in your private iCloud account. Dreamscape Crafters does not operate a content server and does not receive or access your creative content.
Apple operates iCloud and processes iCloud data under Apple's Privacy Policy.
2. Advertising through Google AdMob
Ocie uses Google AdMob to display advertising, including personalized ads. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process information for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, and service performance. Depending on your device, region, permissions, and AdMob configuration, this may include:
- your IP address, which may be used to estimate general location;
- app- or developer-bounded device identifiers; Ocie does not request access to Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA);
- advertising data, such as ads displayed or interacted with;
- app and ad interactions, such as launches, taps, and video views; and
- performance and diagnostic information used to operate and improve the advertising SDK.
Google processes this information under the Google Privacy Policy and explains advertising technologies in its Advertising Policies. Ocie does not send your characters, stories, images, notes, or other creative content to AdMob.
3. Personalized-ad and consent choices
Ocie does not present Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt and does not request access to IDFA. AdMob may still process the other information described above to serve, personalize, and measure ads without using IDFA from Ocie.
Additional advertising or consent choices may be presented based on your region and the advertising configuration.
4. Apple crash reporting
Ocie uses Apple's built-in crash reporting. If you choose to share diagnostics with Apple and app developers in your device settings, Dreamscape Crafters may receive crash information that Apple provides without directly identifying you. We use it only to diagnose problems and improve reliability.
5. Purchases
Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Dreamscape Crafters receives purchase status needed to unlock features but does not receive your payment-card details.
6. Exporting and sharing
Ocie does not automatically upload creative content to a Dreamscape Crafters server. When you deliberately export or share content, you choose the destination using features provided by your device. Information you send to another person or service is then handled by that recipient or service.
7. Retention and deletion
Your creative content remains on your device, and in your private iCloud account when sync is enabled, until you delete it. You can remove content in Ocie and manage Ocie's iCloud data through your Apple account and device settings. Advertising-data retention is controlled by Google under its policies.
8. Children's privacy
Ocie is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's creative content. Advertising services may apply additional age- and region-based protections.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Ocie's features, advertising configuration, or data practices change. The revised policy will show a new “Last updated” date.
